Let’s sit down and talk about exercise, health routines and the realities of life. There are lots of things I want to do for myself — whether that’s related to food, exercise, cold-water immersion, meditation etc. But it’s rare that things go according to plan and we all struggle to keep up a good routine. After years of trying to practice different things myself in the limited time left after kids and messy real life have their way, and working with others dealing with similiar scenerios in their homes, I’m really changed my perspective on all of these self-care practices that are genuinely so important but don’t have to LOOK the way we think.
